…it’s… um… it’s a rustic farmhouse style tissue box cover!I used the same.
wax paper technique for transferring an image.as I did when I made my turkey pillow.I just made the monogram in Picmonkey and flipped it around.. You can see that doing this on a hard surface instead of fabric really gives a very imperfect result and the ink catches in any tiny bit of grain that there may be in the wood..
I really don’t mind the overall look at all though.It’s called character right?.
And the best part of this whole project?
Well, that was the part where Kennedy liked it so much that I didn’t even get in trouble for painting over her colorful “masterpiece” from 6 months ago.. Or maybe she just hasn’t realized it’s the same box yet!.This is my personal favorite way to class-up a room without breaking the bank with custom molding or hiring a plaster molding specialist.. 5.
